Top SchoolBill Bliss is a veteran technology leader and venture partner based in Seattle with a multi-decade track record of founding and scaling major consumer and enterprise products, including early Microsoft Outlook and the Microsoft Teams developer platform. He blends deep platform architecture expertise with product and business leadership—from launching MSN Search and high‑scale recommendation systems at Myspace to leading product strategy at Expedia and VMware. Known for translating complex technical architectures into practical roadmaps, he has repeatedly built developer platforms and metadata/search infrastructure that enabled large-scale user experiences. Now advising startups through GreatScale Ventures, he brings a rare combination of hands-on engineering, product management, and turnaround experience, plus a knack for “cat herding” cross-disciplinary teams to deliver measurable impact.
