Senior🎓
Top SchoolBill Evans is a senior software design engineer with over three decades of hands-on experience spanning systems-level C/C++ work, large-scale Java and JavaScript web applications, and embedded custom-hardware development. He has shipped core platform components at Microsoft (CLR and loader/type systems), led browser and iOS Kindle client development at Amazon, and currently builds full-stack solutions including front-end dashboards and backend pipelines at Amplio. Known for deep debugging chops and comfort across low-level multi-threaded environments and higher-level web stacks, he values performance, correctness, usability, and maintainability. Bill combines technical breadth—fluent in Objective-C, Java, JavaScript, C and C++ and familiar with many other languages—with strong communication and conflict-resolution skills that help align cross-functional teams. A pragmatic engineer, he equally prefers powerful IDEs and lean toolchains, and is adept at rescuing unstable codebases and driving them to production quality.
