Top SchoolBill Forde is a Senior Data Engineer in Chicago with 12 years of experience building scalable ETL pipelines, standardized data models, and analytics platforms across CPG, e-commerce, fintech and insurance. He combines hands-on data engineering at Cash App with prior BI leadership at Amazon and Kraft Heinz, translating product and operational objectives into reliable, self-serve datasets and decision-driving dashboards. Comfortable across SQL, Python, Tableau and modern data warehouse stacks, he also emphasizes documentation, data dictionaries and model diagrams to reduce tribal knowledge. Bill’s background in finance and a MS in Data Science (3.9 GPA) gives him a strong blend of analytical rigor and business sense for measuring customer and operational outcomes. He’s known for teaching teams to self-serve analytics while shipping production-grade pipelines and proactively surfacing new data sources. Outside work his GitHub persona is light-heartedly modest—“just another python developer”—hinting at a pragmatic, hands-on engineering style.
