Senior🎓
Top SchoolBill Torpey is a pharmaceutical operations and quality leader with over three decades of hands-on experience across sterile and non-sterile dose forms, having overseen technical transfers, validation, and major capital projects totalling over £60M. As Director & Senior Associate at Galenisys he combines deep expertise in cleaning validation, data integrity assessments, ISO Class clean room qualification and regulatory inspection readiness with practical TPM and Lean deployment. He has managed large multidisciplinary teams and led transfers and site expansions across multiple UK and European sites, supporting more than 100 licensed products. Known for translating regulatory requirements (FDA, MHRA, ICH Q10) into auditable, risk-based solutions, he also introduced 2D Data Matrix carton serialisation and automated sterile inspection technologies. Less obvious: his career began on the sterile production floor and evolved through production management to consultancy, giving him rare end-to-end credibility from operator to board-level investment decisions.
