👤
SeniorBill Walker is a Principal Architect with 11 years of documented experience and a long career designing and building complex communication and SaaS systems, currently shaping next-generation architecture at iCIMS. He blends deep protocol and telecom roots (SIP, XMPP, VoXML) with modern full-stack expertise in Node.js, React, Docker and secure REST APIs, and has led Smart-Grid/OpenADR implementations and energy interoperability platforms. Comfortable across languages and platforms—from C++ and Java to Python, Groovy, and MongoDB—he pairs hands-on engineering with system-level thinking around networking, databases and deployment. His background includes high‑scale UI work for video conferencing and decades of standards-based telecom server development, giving him a rare mix of real‑time communications and cloud-native application design. Based in New Jersey, he maintains active GitHub presence demonstrating practical, production-focused toolchains and protocol work.
