Senior🎓
Top SchoolBilly Purvis is a Senior Frontend Developer based in London with 11 years’ experience building test-first, accessible user interfaces across agencies, startups and fintech. He specializes in micro-frontend architecture, React, and testing tooling such as Cypress and Jest, and actively contributes to open-source testing projects. At NewDay he shapes frontend strategy and testing practices, mentoring teams through talks and articles and launching component libraries and test strategies. Billy pairs hands-on engineering with infrastructure experience from roles that spanned Laravel, Go, and CI/CD automation, giving him a practical systems view beyond the UI. He’s selective about industry fit—avoiding property investment, gambling, automotive and crypto—which reflects a values-driven approach to his work.
