Top SchoolBin Lin is a seasoned engineering leader and Head of Robot Software Infrastructure with 16+ years of experience building and scaling complex embedded and vehicle software organizations. He has led cross-disciplinary teams at Nuro and Apple to deliver production-capable autonomy platforms, Mac GPU power/performance optimizations, and next-generation compute and sensor stacks. Known for turning small prototyping groups into disciplined engineering organizations, he blends hands-on technical depth (RTOS, Linux, x86/ARM, middleware) with strategic process and culture design to boost delivery and quality. His PhD in computer science informs a methodical, data-driven approach to problem solving and rapid learning across hardware-software boundaries. Based in California, he pairs academic rigor with product-focused execution, frequently removing cross-team bottlenecks to influence roadmaps and ship at scale. Outside work he reads, travels, and reflects—fueling a long-term curiosity that powers iterative technical improvements.
