Top SchoolBingbing Ji is a Senior Lead Software Engineer with nine years of experience blending research-grade numerical methods and production software at companies including MicroStrategy and Capital One. With a Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from Texas A&M, she brings deep optimization and algorithm design skills to large-scale engine and backend systems. Her career shows steady technical progression from performance-focused C++ internships—where she accelerated rendering and reduced RAM usage—to principal-level responsibilities shaping engine architecture. Comfortable in both Python and Go (self-described "Golanger"), she pairs hands-on coding with mentoring and cross-team collaboration. Notably, she has a track record of turning academic multi-level optimization ideas into pragmatic implementations that improve real product performance. Based in Beijing and operating in global teams, she balances rigorous analytical thinking with practical engineering that ships.
