Senior🎓
Top SchoolBinwei Xu is a software engineer with nine years of experience building full-stack web applications and data-driven features, currently at Meta and co-founding a serverless startup listed in Columbia Startup Lab. He blends front-end expertise in React and TypeScript with back-end Python, AWS serverless architectures, and MySQL, and has shipped AI-enabled features for invoice processing and automation at AppFolio. His dual BS degrees in Computer Science (Columbia) and Mathematics (Davidson) underpin a pragmatic approach to product problems and data analysis, evidenced by past work improving OCR accuracy from ~60% to 90% and building ETL pipelines. Comfortable toggling between startup scrappiness and large-company scale, he also manages infrastructure with AWS CDK and earned an AWS grant for his startup—plus he humorously admits to being a “sloppy credit-seeker” who moonlights as a cook with a designer’s eye for code.
