Top SchoolBjarni Auðarson is a results-driven technology executive and COO with 14 years of experience directing IT operations, software development lifecycles, and cross-functional teams across Icelandic and international firms. He has repeatedly scaled organizations from hands-on development roles to C-suite leadership—most recently as COO at Akademias after a senior engineering stint at Fagkaup—bridging strategy, product delivery, and operational excellence. Known for removing technical barriers and deploying modern systems, he pairs deep technical fluency with pragmatic governance to improve performance, reduce costs, and sustain regulatory compliance. His background spans cloud and software leadership roles at GreenQloud and Stilling, giving him a rare combination of operator instincts and developer empathy. Colleagues describe him as a mentor-builder who elevates teams through clear processes and measurable KPIs, while his playful GitHub note about HTMX hints at a curiosity for lightweight, user-centered web tools. Based in Iceland, he brings a global perspective in IT council and international autoparts collaboration alongside strong experience in product and data-driven decision making.
