Summary
👤
SeniorBjarni Fridjonsson is a senior project manager and delivery leader based in Reykjavik with 8 years of formal experience and two decades of hands-on technical and leadership roles. He consistently bridges business and engineering by combining deep software architecture knowledge (.NET, Azure) with proven delivery practices in regulated environments, agile coaching, and Lean Six Sigma process improvement. At Kaptio he scaled cross-functional teams, introduced data-driven KPI reporting, governance for tooling and cost optimization, and brought AI-powered test automation into production. His background ranges from building monitoring and proactive support platforms at Qlik to architecting mobile and integration solutions as an independent consultant, giving him a rare mix of product-focused engineering and organizational change skills. Colleagues rely on him to take digital ideas through implementation to adoption by aligning stakeholders, simplifying complexity, and creating measurable outcomes. He often pairs hands-on solution architecture with strategic coaching, making technical depth a lever for faster, predictable delivery.
