Summary
🤩
RockstarBjörn Brauer is a freelance software engineer with 12 years' experience specializing in JavaScript across client and server sides, focused on making the web more fun and usable. Based in the Greater Hamburg Area, he has held senior engineering and consulting roles at XING and HiSolutions and now contributes to diverse projects from tooling to embedded targets. His open-source work spans front-end tooling (react-docgen), developer experience (nektos/act), mobile iOS automation for React Native, and surprisingly low-level contributions to TinyGo’s runtime—bridging JavaScript, DevOps, mobile, and systems-level challenges. Known for pragmatic automation and tightening integrations (Xcode scripting, Docker/GitHub Actions), he brings both hands-on coding and practical engineering hygiene to complex projects.
