Top SchoolBjörn Ekryd is a seasoned Java-focused solution architect and certified Scrum Master with 13+ years of hands-on experience building and coaching teams on enterprise systems, microservices, and automated CI/CD pipelines. As founder and CEO of Ekryd Konsult AB (and a former backend engineer at Spotify), he blends leadership, system architecture and mentorship to deliver maintainable, test-driven solutions. He evangelizes Clean Code, TDD, automated build servers and pragmatic API design, and has taught workshops on Spring, Hibernate, Maven and JUnit. Comfortable shifting between coding and coaching, he frequently serves as architect, Scrum Master and instructor on consulting engagements. With a master’s in computer science from Stockholm University and early experience at Ericsson and academia, he brings both industrial rigor and teaching experience to complex delivery challenges. An underappreciated strength is his longevity running a consultant business—demonstrating client trust, adaptability and repeated success across startups and large enterprises.
