Top SchoolBjörn Rennfanz is a systems engineer based in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, with 11 years of professional experience building embedded and industrial software systems. He has progressed through multiple engineering roles at Basler AG—from software developer to senior software engineer and now systems engineer—bringing deep product knowledge of machine-vision and hardware-integrated solutions. Earlier in his career he spent nearly a decade designing hardware and software at 3B Scientific, giving him a strong cross-disciplinary foundation in device electronics and firmware. Trained in technical computer science and industrial electronics, he combines formal engineering education with hands-on experience in both development and system integration. Colleagues would describe him as someone who moves smoothly between low-level hardware concerns and higher-level system design, often anticipating integration issues before they surface. He prefers pragmatic, durable solutions that balance maintainability with performance in industrial contexts.
