Top SchoolBlake Israel is a Lead Software & Security Engineer with 14 years of experience building highly scalable, capital-efficient platforms and security programs for growth-stage companies. At HONK Technologies he architected the real-time dispatch platform that still powers thousands of daily roadside assistance requests, cut insurer onboarding from months to days, and grew AI initiatives from customer SMS agents to provider-facing voice agents. He built security from the ground up—SOC2, PCI-DSS, zero-trust, and automated CI/CD scanning—while keeping a product-minded focus and partnering daily with Product and Exec teams. Blake excels at turning small engineering teams into force multipliers through pragmatic processes, automation, and mentorship (24+ engineers mentored and hiring interviews for hundreds of candidates). He combines deep system design and cloud migration expertise with a knack for operational tooling and intelligent automation that reduces headcount pressure without sacrificing velocity. Based in Los Angeles and holding a BS in Computer Science and an MS in International Affairs from Georgia Tech, he blends technical depth with cross-functional leadership and enterprise integration experience.
