Bo Chen
Founder at enwaytech
Berlin, Germany
Summary
🤩
RockstarBo Chen is a founder and engineering leader with nine years of experience building hardware-software robotics products and scaling technical teams from prototype to exit. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of Enway in Berlin, he raised €10M+, achieved the first M1 public-road permit for a municipal sweeper, and led integration of Enway tech into Bucher Municipal following an exit. He combines a strong computer science background (MSc, BSc magna cum laude) with hands-on productization—setting up small-scale production, launching an ADAS system that passed TÜV approval, and operating a Singapore subsidiary. Earlier consulting roles at Deloitte sharpened his cross-border IT strategy and M&A delivery skills across insurance, life sciences, and manufacturing. He’s comfortable leading multidisciplinary, distributed teams across mechanical, electrical, embedded, robotics software, web, and DevOps domains. Colleagues describe him as fast-learning, driven, and focused on hiring smart operators who thrive in high-velocity, impact-driven environments.
