SeniorBob Brodie is a senior software engineer and founder with over 15 years of experience architecting high-performance, SDLC-driven platforms for startups and Fortune-ranked enterprises. He has led lean teams to design cloud-native, event-driven systems that handle 14+ million daily requests and realized performance gains up to 80% across eCommerce and CMS landscapes. After growing SUMO Heavy into a successful agency and selling it to ITX, he has continued delivering scalable payment, fraud, and reporting solutions—often replacing costly third-party tools with fast, custom data pipelines. His tech fluency spans Ruby/Rails, Node.js/TypeScript, PHP, Python, and .NET on AWS, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Kafka, and CI/CD security integrations. Notably, he resurrected and standardized SDKs and migrations that cut support tickets by 90% and performed zero-downtime migrations of millions of orders in under a week, blending pragmatic engineering with measurable business impact.
