Senior🎓
Top SchoolBob Brown is a senior engineering leader and hands-on technologist with over a decade of experience building cross-platform multimedia and immersive audio tools from kernel to UI across macOS, iOS, Android, Windows, and Linux. He has led and grown engineering teams at companies like Xperi and Gobbler, architected Pro Tools integrations and immersive theater audio deployed worldwide, and now consults and runs Evergreen Audio Design Group while serving as Senior Director of Engineering at PACE. Comfortable in C++ and audio frameworks (AAX, JUCE) as well as modern web and scripting stacks, he bridges product, QA, legal, and support to deliver production-ready workflows for creative professionals. A pragmatic mentor and agile practitioner, he’s known for shipping real-time, multi-threaded systems and designing robust file formats and communication protocols. Less obvious: his background includes kernel-level driver work, internationalization at scale, and on-site debugging for top studios, giving him uncommon end-to-end empathy for both developers and high-profile customers.
