Senior🎓
Top SchoolBob Riley is a pragmatic senior software engineer with 20+ years of experience specializing in backend systems, device integration, and low-level/embedded development across Go, C#, C, Python and PHP. He pairs deep technical craft—building payment device services, Windows services for hardware interaction, and embedded RTOS drivers—with product-minded judgment gained from founding and selling a successful WordPress-focused software company. Comfortable in Linux containerized environments and AWS, he has a track record of optimizing cross-service logic and enabling large, fault-tolerant workflows (including splitting massive PHP backup jobs across requests). Bob bridges engineering and business stakeholders effectively, having led developer teams, customer support, and operations for commercial software. Based in Chandler, AZ, he brings a rare blend of embedded systems experience and modern cloud-native backend skills that help untangle complex integrations.
