Top SchoolBørge Nordli is a Principal Software Architect with 15 years of experience designing reliable, test-first distributed systems, currently helping Exabel fuse alternative data and AI for investment teams. Trained in mathematics and computer science at NTNU, he began his career in distributed search at Google and Microsoft and later built domain-critical applications for Bouvet before joining startups. He favors functional programming paradigms, strong analytical rigor, and exhaustive unit testing to ensure correctness in complex data pipelines. Comfortable moving between hands-on coding and high-level architecture, he thrives in startups where pragmatic engineering meets research-grade models. Outside work he plays the piano and navigates the woods with a compass—a hint of methodical creativity that feeds his engineering approach.
