SeniorBoris Araoz is a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience building resilient backend systems and developer-facing infrastructure across retail, finance, airlines and government. Based in Solna, Sweden, he currently focuses on database infrastructure and DevOps at Spotify, where he helped migrate Cassandra to Bigtable and built a Memcached-on-Kubernetes caching layer serving millions of global requests per second. His background spans hands-on development to technical leadership—designing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing suites and large-scale Java enterprise migrations for clients like LATAM, GAP and Citi. Boris blends pragmatic engineering with product-minded developer experience work, creating internal tools, docs and support workflows that accelerate teams. A quick learner who keeps current with cloud-native tech (GCP, Kubernetes, Spanner) and databases, he brings a systems-level view informed by early large-scale e‑government and telecom projects.
