Top SchoolBoris Kozak is a Staff Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building products, teams, and companies, currently focused on measurement infrastructure at Instagram to ensure ads perform reliably for users, creators, and advertisers. He has a track record of scaling engineering organizations from first engineer to senior leadership, driving product reliability, privacy features, and post-acquisition integrations that supported substantial revenue growth. Boris blends hands-on IC work with people and program leadership—he’s led global teams, achieved zero developer attrition through career pathing, and personally recruited and mentored engineering managers. Outside industry, he advises academia as Board Chair for Rutgers’ data and AI institute and teaches capstone students, shaping curriculum to align with real-world needs. Early-stage entrepreneur experience (co-founding Arcane Studios and leading AllClear during the pandemic) underscores his product-focused, mission-driven mindset. Based in New York, he pairs pragmatic engineering (from Ruby/Node/Scala to large-scale measurement systems) with a consistent emphasis on trust, reliability, and measurable impact.
