Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolBoris Polania is a seasoned software leader with 11+ years building payments, blockchain, mobility and telecom platforms and currently leading development at Arm. He combines hands-on engineering and technical leadership across startups and enterprise R&D—previous roles include lead systems architect at Honda, senior engineering at Harmony, and developer advocacy across NEAR and Aurora ecosystems. His background in economics and machine learning training complements deep fintech and embedded/mobile payments experience, from EMV and NFC to ISO8583 integrations. Known for bridging research, product and developer communities, he repeatedly ships proofs-of-concept into production while setting technical direction for cross-disciplinary teams. Based in California, he blends practical systems design with a focus on measurable outcomes and operational detail, and maintains a track record of guiding teams through migrations, integrations and R&D-to-product transitions. An understated strength: he pairs finance-domain knowledge with low-level engineering fluency, enabling pragmatic solutions for complex payment and e-mobility challenges.
