Senior🎓
Top SchoolBoy Wijnmaalen is a Lead Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building payment and ticketing integrations for live events, museums and festivals, currently enabling seamless POS-to-ticketing flows at CM.com from Cape Town. He pairs deep hands-on engineering—having helped stand up CM’s payments platform and multiple branding and e-commerce systems—with a knack for translating technical complexity into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable leading teams and projects, Boy champions Open Source tooling and pragmatic architectures that scale for peak event traffic while simplifying human interactions rather than replacing them. His background straddles product-facing solutions and localizing global platforms for new markets, giving him a rare perspective on both engineering trade-offs and customer-driven feature design.
