Top SchoolBozhidar Vasilev is a software engineer with a decade of experience applying machine learning and optimization to tough, real-world problems. Trained at the University of Oxford (MSc Computer Science), he has moved from programming-competition tooling and contest automation to production ML systems, delivering end-to-end solutions that dramatically cut processing time and resource use. At Optiver he built and deployed an unsupervised ML pipeline that reduced analysis from six hours to 20 minutes on commodity CPU cores, and he now brings that blend of research-led modeling and pragmatic engineering to QuantCo. Comfortable across data analysis, model design, tuning, and scalable deployment, he pairs strong academic foundations with hands-on product delivery. Colleagues describe him as someone who finds elegant, optimization-driven shortcuts that unlock practical performance gains.
