Top SchoolBradley Monk is an Applied AI Solutions Lead and senior cognitive scientist with 12 years of interdisciplinary experience blending machine learning, human factors, and user-centered design. Currently at Pacific Science & Engineering Group, he leads development of AI systems optimized for real-world human use, drawing on a PhD in Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience from UC San Diego and postdoctoral bioinformatics work at UCSF. His background spans academic research—identifying genes linked to Alzheimer’s and modeling neural plasticity—to product-focused engineering, including co-founding a health hardware/software startup that shipped a 5-star mobile app and a provisional patent. Bradley has run federally funded transportation analytics projects and delivered applied data science across industry and academia, demonstrating an ability to translate complex models into actionable policy and product outcomes.
