Top SchoolBradley Smith is a seasoned software engineering leader with 11+ years building and scaling cloud-native, API-driven web and mobile experiences across healthcare, retail and energy sectors. Currently leading Healthcare Experiences at Bupa AU, he combines hands-on architecture and full-stack craft with people leadership, having grown and managed teams from small squads to 120+ engineers. He’s pragmatic about brownfield modernization as well as greenfield innovation, driving measurable outcomes like major performance, cost and availability improvements across product domains. Bradley has repeatedly delivered large digital transformations and CI/CD/DevOps platforms on Azure and AWS, and is an early adopter of AI to accelerate the SDLC and enable engineering productivity. Known for promoting engineers into leadership and creating inclusive, high-engagement teams, he also has a history of technical wins—from dramatic cart and checkout rebuilds to service virtualisation tooling used enterprise-wide. Based in Melbourne, he blends deep polyglot technical skills (C#, .NET Core, React, TypeScript, Java, Go) with a talent for operationalizing reliable, production-grade systems.
