Bragi Bergþórsson

Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolBragi Bergþórsson is a product engineer with a decade of experience crafting user-focused digital products, balancing speedy delivery with careful attention to UX and performance. He has led frontend efforts and migrations (notably Next.js and GraphQL for high-traffic auction clients) and shipped end-to-end features across React/ReScript frontends, Firebase functions, and CI/CD at companies serving clients like Sotheby's and Delivery Hero. Comfortable collaborating closely with designers, he brings developer-experience improvements and AI-accelerated development workflows into regular practice, turning retrospectives into shared tooling. A former opera singer who switched to tech at 33, he combines discipline and calm under pressure with a habit of obsessing over interface details. Based in Reykjavík, he’s equally likely to debug a live bidding issue as he is to perfect sourdough and espresso at home.
