Senior🎓
Top SchoolBrandon Burnett is a Lead Software Engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building and operating large-scale Linux-based infrastructure and developer platforms, currently driving engineering efforts at New Relic. He combines deep systems and networking expertise—F5, BGP/Keepalived, DNS, Terraform, Prometheus/Grafana—with software craftsmanship in Python, Bash, and web technologies to automate and stabilize production services. His background spans leadership roles in DevOps management, technical product ownership, and platform engineering where he has led migrations, cut operational costs, and designed CI/CD and monitoring ecosystems. Comfortable from kernel modules to serverless POCs, he has a practical knack for turning legacy stacks into automated, cloud-native workflows. Based in Gladstone, OR, Brandon pairs a tinkerer’s curiosity with disciplined delivery, often preferring to automate repetitive ops so he can explore new frameworks and low-level problems.
