Senior🎓
Top SchoolBrandon Orther is a seasoned software engineer and CEO with two decades of experience designing and delivering large-scale web applications, and 15 years in leadership and product roles. He blends hands-on engineering—favoring Clojure, JavaScript, and Python—with systems automation and cross-platform mobile/desktop work, having built RESTful platforms, WebRTC-based conferencing prototypes, and scalable image-processing pipelines. As founder/CEO of Uptrend Technology and former CTO of SnapSho, he has repeatedly owned architecture, deployment automation and the end-to-end developer experience for production systems. Comfortable across cloud services, queues, and modern testing pipelines, he’s built solutions that marry hardware, frontend, and backend concerns in the field. Based in San Marcos, CA, he brings entrepreneurial instincts and a pragmatic focus on reliable, maintainable systems rather than allegiance to any single stack.
