Top SchoolBrandon Soong is a Senior Software Engineer with seven years of full‑stack experience building user-focused web and mobile applications, currently shaping site experience and design systems at Priceline. He works across JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React/React Native, MongoDB and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and has led migrations such as GA3 to GA4 and refactors to improve performance. His background spans fast-moving startups and large enterprises including Twitter, KarmaCheck, Lazard and Tapestry, where he has blended frontend UX work with backend integrations, security tooling, and data-driven operational improvements. He also co-leads HudsonHapps, a local happy-hour app, showing a knack for shipping consumer-facing features and running small cross-functional teams. Known for mentoring peers through engineering roundtables and guilds, he pairs hands‑on coding with architectural thinking and pragmatic tooling (CI/Eslint pipelines, serverless APIs). Colleagues appreciate that he brings both a product sensibility and a penchant for reducing operational friction through automation and analytics.
