Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolBrandon Tran is a Full Stack TypeScript engineer based in Chicago with three years of experience building React/Redux and Node applications and shipping maintainable, performant products. He’s led migrations from JS/JSX to TypeScript, upgraded complex dependency stacks, and implemented testing and documentation practices that dramatically reduced runtime errors and onboarding friction. Comfortable across the stack, Brandon has built production features using Material UI, Tailwind, Passport OAuth, SQL and NoSQL stores, and tooling like Vite, Webpack and Electron. He’s experienced running Agile rituals and guiding small teams to deliver measurable improvements in code quality and performance. Outside work he’s a featured speaker on front-end framework choices and balances coding with basketball, rock climbing, gym sessions and building mini LEGO figures—an indicator of both team sportsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
