Summary
🤩
RockstarBrendan Eich is a veteran software engineer and entrepreneur with 26 years of experience, best known as the creator of JavaScript and co-founder of Mozilla and Firefox. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he blends deep language design and browser-engine expertise with startup leadership as Founder & CEO of Brave Software. His hands-on contributions include low-level interpreter work—improving the Narcissus meta-circular JavaScript interpreter with parser, REPL, and bug fixes—demonstrating sustained attention to tooling and language internals. Comfortable moving between product strategy and critical code, he consistently ships pragmatic solutions that scale across browsers and privacy-focused platforms. Less obvious: his background combines language innovation with practical UX concerns, shaping both developer-facing runtimes and consumer-facing privacy features.
