Brendan Kilfoil
Director at Finger-Ink
Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Summary
👤
SeniorBrendan Kilfoil is a product-focused Director and co-founder with 13 years of commercial software experience, blending hands-on engineering and UI/UX design to ship mobile and web products. He’s led end-to-end work at Finger-Ink and earlier agencies, covering design, development, product management and customer research, and has deep practical experience in iOS (Objective-C, Swift), Ruby on Rails, and increasingly Elixir for functional programming. Brendan has a track record of modernising legacy platforms and building developer-friendly systems—migrating to .NET/SQL and introducing front-end improvements with JavaScript and React. Comfortable at the keyboard or the design canvas, he pairs pixel-level attention with pragmatic engineering, and still enjoys daily coding even as he runs a company. Based in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty, he brings an entrepreneur’s breadth and a designer’s eye to solving real user problems.
