Top SchoolBrendan O'Connell is a Platform Manager and software engineer with five years of experience building user-focused, open-access publishing infrastructure at the intersection of technology and higher education. He has led technical onboarding and migrations for Thoth at Open Book Publishers, automating metadata cleaning and validation with Python and GitHub Actions to scale publisher integrations. His background in library science and instructional technology gives him a rare combination of UX-minded product management and hands-on engineering, evidenced by work on Zotero translators and outreach to academic libraries.
