Senior🎓
Top SchoolBrendan Winter is a seasoned Software Engineering Consultant and SRE with over 15 years building and operating reliable PaaS and SaaS platforms from seed-stage startups to enterprise teams. Based in Seattle, he combines deep backend and infrastructure expertise—Ruby/Rails, Go, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS—with practical SRE practices around SLIs/SLOs and fleet management. At Pivotal/VMware Tanzu he helped sunset a large platform, led billing and offboarding efforts for thousands of users, and built tooling (Terraform provider, Go libraries, Kubernetes controllers) to streamline SLI dashboarding and availability probes. He thrives in small, cross-functional teams where he blends hands-on coding with leadership, mentoring, and incident debugging. Outside of product work he applies his analytical skills to consulting projects and community leadership as an HOA board member, demonstrating a knack for budgeting, conflict resolution, and long-term planning. That blend of production-scale reliability experience and practical, people-focused problem solving makes him effective at turning operational complexity into dependable, well-instrumented systems.
