Senior🎓
Top SchoolBrennan Brown is a Lead Developer and founder of Berry House, a values-driven studio in Calgary that builds fast, accessible JAMstack sites while funding pro-bono work for marginalized communities. With 11 years of experience, he combines editorial craft—holding an English Honours degree—with lean engineering focused on Eleventy, Hugo, and Astro to ship sites scoring 95+ on Lighthouse. He’s a prolific open-source maintainer and theme author with 700+ commits, 100+ stars across repos, and tools collectively downloaded hundreds of times, including IndieWeb-compliant blog starters and accessibility utilities. Beyond code, Brennan runs Write Club, publishes widely on Medium, and has independently released nine books, blending community-building, pedagogy, and creative practice. He’s an advocate for digital autonomy, privacy-respecting analytics, and calm, portable web tech—often reducing client load times 60–80% during WordPress-to-JAMstack migrations. Practical, mission-driven, and unusually literate for a builder, he translates narrative strategy into performant, inclusive web experiences.
