Top SchoolBrent Cordis is a seasoned cyber security analyst and IT leader with 13 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and securing complex AV, network, and server environments across education, government, and enterprise sectors. He has led large multi-site video conferencing and AV projects for clients like HCA, Vanderbilt, and Deloitte, and now applies that systems-level perspective to cybersecurity work at General Dynamics Information Technology. Comfortable from low-level audio engineering to VMware, Cisco, and firewall traversal for H.323/SIP, he pairs strong operational troubleshooting with practical policy and budget stewardship from his IT director roles. Brent also brings software experience—years of PHP development and custom CMS work for Nashville First SDA Church—so he bridges dev and ops in mixed environments. Known for creating training, proposals, and pricing models, he’s as effective presenting to executives as he is fixing on-site hardware. Based in La Vergne, TN, he combines technical depth with a collaborative, client-focused approach that often turns complex requirements into cost-effective, maintainable solutions.
