Top SchoolBrett Fox is a full-stack software engineer with a decade of experience and five years focused on building Django and React web applications, RESTful APIs, and research-focused web tools. He has a strong track record at the University of Notre Dame and Lucerna Health building Dockerized, tested backends and modular React frontends, plus ETL pipelines that converted messy paper and legacy datasets into normalized Postgres schemas. Brett pairs product-minded engineering—having led API projects that automated data preservation across multiple repositories—with hands-on implementation of data management, reporting, and React component design in Storybook. Based in Salt Lake City, he also freelances modern web experiences for small businesses and nonprofits, bringing UX designs from Figma to production on Firebase and GCP. Eager to deepen his data science skills, he blends practical data engineering expertise with a focus on making research data sharing painless and repeatable.
