Top SchoolBrett Miller is a creative innovation leader and founding member/bassist of the rock band Killer Robots, blending 25+ years of consumer insight, ethnographic research, and ideation into breakthrough brand and product strategies. He has led co-creation and front-end innovation practices for clients including PepsiCo, McDonald’s, Smucker’s and HelloFresh, specializing in Jobs-To-Be-Done insight development, workshop facilitation, concept testing and positioning. Known as an “insight whisperer” and “idea architect,” Brett designs experiences that move ideas from affinity to testable concepts and cultivates cultures of innovation within agencies and client teams. He pairs artistic instincts—graphic design, album art and fine art—with rigorous strategic frameworks developed over senior roles at Maddock Douglas, Research International and agency leadership positions. Based in Port Alberni, he balances hands-on creative projects (motorcycle road trips, greenhouse automation and custom keyboard builds hinted on his GitHub) with high-level brand strategy, bringing a maker’s curiosity to enterprise problems. Practical, personable and performance-focused, he excels at turning human stories into commercially viable innovations.
