Top SchoolBrian Baumhover is a Principal Software Engineer with 11+ years building reliable, high-performance browser and media systems, currently leading observability and automation efforts on Microsoft AI's Browser Fundamentals Team. He designs full-stack infrastructure that processes millions of native stack traces daily, leverages LLM-based agentic reasoning to triage and fix Chromium performance issues, and ships web apps and databases to visualize large-scale test results. Brian combines deep systems and embedded experience—from Windows media playback and device tooling to C#, C++, Python, and cloud services—with a knack for deconstructing problems to their root cause. Based in Greater Seattle, he thrives on ownership-driven projects and is drawn to high-impact, technically challenging opportunities that improve user experience at scale. An early career background in embedded firmware and VR tooling informs his pragmatic, cross-stack approach to reliability engineering.
