Top SchoolBrian Deweese is a senior software engineer and mobile engineering leader based in Seattle with over 15 years of experience designing and shipping high-performance iOS, Android, and cross-platform apps. He’s driven product outcomes as a hands-on technologist and manager, growing Likewise’s mobile product to 7M users and leading cross-platform React Native and CTV initiatives that boosted engagement and retention. Skilled in native and hybrid stacks—Swift/Objective-C, Java/Kotlin, React Native—and backend Rails and Node.js, he bridges product, design, and data to deliver polished user experiences. He has a track record migrating legacy hybrid apps to modern architectures and writing native modules when performance matters. Equally comfortable setting roadmaps as he is shipping code, he brings a product-minded lens to technical decisions. Outside of engineering, his background in marketing and early design roles informs a user-focused approach to feature prioritization.
