Top SchoolBrian Leung is a Site Reliability Engineer based in Los Angeles with 11 years of experience building resilient backend systems and production-grade DevOps pipelines. He has strong hands-on experience designing AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes deployments, GitLab CI/CD automation, and secrets management with HashiCorp Vault, having driven those efforts at Enervee and now at Expel. Early work as a software engineer sharpened his application-level thinking—Django microservices, AngularJS migrations, and data ingestion pipelines—so he bridges developer and operations concerns effectively. He mentors junior engineers and emphasizes repeatable, automated delivery through Terraform, Ansible, and containerization. Continuously learning, he’s exploring Generative AI and modern tooling to keep systems efficient and teams productive.
