Senior🎓
Top SchoolBrian Lim is a Senior Software Engineer with 10 years of experience building scalable ML-powered systems and production software across Amazon, Palantir, and now ServiceNow. Trained at UC Santa Barbara with an MS/BS in Computer Science and a focus on scalable machine learning, he blends deep learning research in NLP and computer vision with pragmatic engineering for high-throughput services. He has a track record of improving performance and maintainability—deprecating legacy systems, shipping Golang ingestion pipelines, and optimizing backend apps—while leading student data-science initiatives that doubled member retention and professional outreach. Comfortable moving between research prototypes (emoji-based conversation metrics, video highlighting, machine reading comprehension) and production deployments, he brings both academic rigor and operational discipline to complex ML engineering problems. Located in the Greater Seattle Area, he pairs curiosity about model-centric challenges with hands-on systems experience across startups and large enterprises.
