Brian Staruk
Principal Architect, Experience Development at MERGE
Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorBrian Staruk is a Front-End Architect in Boston with two decades of web development experience and a practical full-stack focus (approximately 75% front-end, 25% back-end). He leads TypeScript, React, and Next.js initiatives that prioritize accessibility (90% WCAG AA targets), developer experience, and pixel-perfect component libraries driven by Storybook and Figma. Brian has transformed sales processes into Salesforce-integrated web apps, integrated front ends with Sitecore, AEM, and Contentful headless CMSs, and built resilient CI/CD pipelines to keep teams shipping. He mentors engineers, performs code reviews, and helped scale his agency fivefold while delivering work for brands like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Columbia Sportswear, and UConn. Comfortable across server-side rendering, micro frontends, and PDF generation services, he blends hands-on engineering with product-oriented thinking to turn complex enterprise requirements into practical web experiences. Collected expertise in accessibility, developer tooling, and sales-facing web apps makes him a pragmatic architect who still writes the code that ships.
