Top SchoolBrian Tavares is a Senior Engineer based in Ottawa with a decade of experience building production software across public safety, hardware startups, and large-scale consumer products. He progressed from junior roles at Environment Canada and Versaterm to leading engineering at Else Labs, and now contributes to engineering efforts at Spotify, blending hands-on coding with team-level leadership. Known for caring deeply about craft, he thrives on turning ambiguous problems into maintainable systems and mentoring peers through that process.
