Summary
👤
SeniorBridget Went is a founding fullstack engineer with 11 years of experience building resilient, high-performance systems and scaling security-focused pipelines. She has led performance and platform efforts at Okta and Material Security, owning throughput, resiliency, and efficiency for core services and email security ingestion pipelines. Now based in Truckee, CA, she blends hands-on backend and fullstack development with technical leadership at early-stage startups. A mathematician by training, she brings a data-oriented, curiosity-driven approach to debugging hard problems and optimizing systems. Beyond shipping software, she’s an active advocate for inclusivity in tech and has a history of interdisciplinary projects—from VR simulations to image-rendering research—that reveal a practical creativity not always obvious from job titles alone.
