Top SchoolBridgette Powell is a Senior Software Engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area with nine years of experience building production-grade backend services, developer tools, and artist-focused pipelines across startups and studios. She has led full-stack teams and launched core services—most recently building Kotlin gRPC APIs, REST backends, and privacy-conscious logging for a mobile payments app at MobileCoin before joining Apple. Her background uniquely blends film production R&D (DreamWorks, ILM, Walt Disney) with fintech and product engineering, enabling her to translate creative workflows into robust, user-friendly systems and dashboards. She’s skilled at integrating third-party services (Plaid, Twilio, Prometheus, Sentry) and automating deployments and monitoring via GitHub Actions and Grafana. Colleagues rely on her to manage cross-functional teams and ship prototypes that scale into production while preserving user privacy. An MS in Computer Science and a history of pipeline innovations for award-winning animation tools underscore her ability to bridge research-grade engineering with pragmatic product delivery.
