Senior🎓
Top SchoolBrook Patten is an experienced software engineering leader with 11 years in the field and a track record of modernizing large legacy .NET systems into cloud-native, containerized architectures. Currently an Engineering Director at Procter & Gamble, he blends hands-on full-stack development (from T-SQL tuning to Vue/Angular UIs) with team leadership and delivery practices like CI/CD, DDD, and CQRS. He has led cross-functional teams and migration efforts that moved Windows/IIS WebForms to .NET Core Web APIs running in Linux containers, improving performance and developer productivity. Comfortable across stacks—.NET, Node, Java, mobile and occasional Python—he prioritizes maintainable, well-tested code and pragmatic tooling choices. Outside work he’s into skiing, sailing, emulation, and admits to being “bad at video games,” a hint of the curiosity and humility he brings to engineering challenges.
