Top SchoolBrooke Deuson is a founder and software engineer in San Francisco who applies 11 years of experience building large-scale ETL and production systems across aerospace, legal tech, and AI startups to fight human trafficking with Trafficking Free Tomorrow. Comfortable shipping systems in Rust, she blends hands-on engineering with mission-driven leadership, running a nonprofit that leverages software for social impact. Her background includes roles at Northrop Grumman, Novetta, and high-velocity startups, reflecting an ability to move between regulated, data-intensive environments and fast-paced product teams. Unusually for a nonprofit founder, she brings deep systems engineering expertise rather than just policy advocacy, pairing technical rigor with legal and civic experience from earlier public-sector work.
